Students will become productive with the use of a variety of input technologies in cluding word processing and/or desktop publishing, spreadsheet, database, and presentation software to create, edit, and publish industry appropriate software.

BCS-CA1-2: Students will use technology as a tool to increase productivity in completing a variety of input technologies to create, edit, and publish industry appropriate documents.

This demonstrates my knowledge of using technology to increase productivity because:
1. It shows a business that my resume was professionally created to launch my step into a business world.
2. It shows I know how to use Microsoft Word to create a business appropriate resume.
3. This shows that I know how to explain the snapshot of my work to the business world through a resume.

The following is what I learned from this particular assignment:
I learned what goes into a resume in the adult world of job hunting. I also learned what effectively should be done to create a resume using a Microsoft Word template.

BCS-CA1-3: Students will use word processing and/or desktop pulishing software through a bariety of input technologies to create, edit, and publish industry appropriate documents.

This demonstrates my knowledge of using technology to increase productivity because:
1. I can effectively use a newsletter to publish industry appropriate work.
2. I can effectively use the newseltter to publish the happenings of the industry into a document.
3. I can successfully use a newsletter to publish details through input technologies for an industry.

The following is what I learned from this particular assignment:
I learned that Microsoft Word in perhaps making a newsletter is simpler because you can get the newsletter spread faster electronically than passing out flyers for a business.

BCS-CA1-4: Students will use spreadsheet software to create, edit, and publish industry appropriate files.

This demonstrates my knowledge of using technology to increase productivity because:
1. The course evaluation sheet shows it's faster to type things out in a table in a spreadsheet.
2. It's simpler to organize things in a table.
3. It's cleaner and specific to have things in a spreadsheet table.


The following is what I learned from this particular assignment:
I learned how to really think about all the things I had really done that semester in drama, and how to organize them into a simple table.

BCS-CA1-5: Students will use database software to create, edit, and publish industry appropriate files.

This demonstrates my knowledge of using technology to increase productivity because:
1. It shows I know how to create and use reports, queries, tables, and a database as realted to the business world.
2. It shows I know how to publish and print a report of a database document for a business.
3. It shows that I understand how to use the database software.

The following is what I learned from this particular assignment:
I learned that it's much easier to keep track of larger quantities of anything, when you have one main source to attach them all to.

BCS-CA1-6: Students will use presentation software to create, edit, and publish industry apropriate files.

This demonstrates my knowledge of using technology to increase productivity because:
1. My powerpoint on Bill Shuster demonstrates my knowledge on how to make a factual powerpoint.
2. This was faster than making a bunches of peices of paper to make a semi-slide show.
3. This was easier to insert pictures off the internet of the candidate.

The following is what I learned from this particular assignment:
I learned how to represent factual information in an attractive mannor.
